Terms of service

Last updated 10 October 2026. Please read these terms before using DraftMyEOT.

Who we are

DraftMyEOT is operated by sole proprietors together with partnered contractors. The place of operation is Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. You can reach us at [email protected].

What DraftMyEOT is

DraftMyEOT is assistant software that helps construction contractors and claims consultants track contractual notice deadlines, organize site evidence, and generate draft Extension of Time (EOT) documentation. DraftMyEOT is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Every claim, letter or rebuttal it generates is a draft for review by a qualified professional before it is relied upon or submitted to any employer, Engineer or Authority Engineer.

No guarantee of outcome

We do not guarantee that any notice, claim or draft produced through the product will be accepted, that any deadline calculation is free of error for your specific contract, or that any particular EOT or cost entitlement will be granted. You remain responsible for verifying every date, clause reference and figure against your actual contract before acting on it.

Expert review

Some paid services include review of a draft by an expert reviewer. A review does not make a draft legal advice, and it does not remove your own responsibility to check the draft against your contract and to obtain your own professional advice before you rely on or submit it.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you upload or enter, for obtaining appropriate professional review before submission of any generated document, for the contract deadlines that apply to your projects, and for keeping your account credentials secure.

Free trial workspace

A free trial workspace is limited to one project. In a trial workspace, claim drafts can be viewed on screen but cannot be exported as PDF or Word files. Deadline alerts stay active.

Subscriptions, one-time orders and billing

Plans are billed per company, per project or per claim, as shown at checkout, and not per seat. Payments, invoices and applicable taxes are handled by our payment processor, Dodo Payments, as merchant of record. You can cancel a subscription through the customer portal provided by our payment processor.

If a plan lapses, deadline alerts for your existing data continue for a grace period. Features of your paid plan stop when the grace period ends.

Refunds

If you buy a one-time expert-reviewed draft and it has not been reviewed within 48 hours, it is refunded automatically. Beyond that, we may refund a payment at our discretion if you ask us by email. We are not obliged to do so.

Data and confidentiality

Your project data belongs to you. See our Privacy policy for how it is stored, processed and shared. We do not use your project data in marketing or name you as a customer without your written permission.

Limitation of liability

DraftMyEOT is an assistant tool. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DraftMyEOT and the people who operate it accept no liability to you or to anyone else for any loss or damage of any kind arising from the use of, or reliance on, the product or anything it produces. This includes, without limitation, missed or miscalculated deadlines, lost entitlement to an extension of time or to costs, liquidated damages deductions, and any outcome of a claim or dispute.

Governing courts

Any legal action arising out of or in connection with these terms or the use of DraftMyEOT will be brought only in the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
