Product · Notice letter generator

A one-page notice of claim, cited to your clause, in three steps.

The 28-day letter does not need to be the finished argument. It needs to exist, on time, cite the right sub-clause, and be logged. The notice generator does exactly that and nothing more.

WHAT IT PRODUCES

A notice, not a claim

FIDIC separates the short notice of claim from the fully detailed claim that follows. Most missed time-bars are missed at the first step, because the letter was being polished into a claim it never needed to be.

01

Clause citation from your contract only

The letter cites the sub-clause you confirmed during extraction, quoted from your uploaded document. Nothing is pulled from a template of the standard form.

02

Family register

FIDIC families get a formal notice referencing the clause and reserving the right to claim time and cost. NHAI and CPWD families get an authority letter with a reference number line and hindrance annexure.

03

Your numbering convention

Set a prefix and running number once in Settings, for example FBC/MHT2/2026/042. Each letter increments automatically and can be edited before save.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps, then it is in the register

N1

Confirm the facts

Event, event date, awareness date, and the confirmed clause reference are shown for you to check. Nothing else is used.

Confirmed
N2

Generate

A short formal letter is drafted from those facts only. Any assumption is marked in square brackets for you to resolve, never silently filled.

Drafted
N3

Review and export

Edit, number, export to Word or PDF, and save. Saving logs the letter against the event and can move its status to Notified once marked as sent.

Served in time

Drafted is not sent. The register only counts a notice as served once you mark the letter sent, so status never claims something that has not happened.

EDGE CASES

Handled honestly, not hidden

A

Window already closed

If the deadline passed before the event was logged, the app labels it in red and offers a mitigation-oriented record letter instead of a notice, flagged for expert advice.

B

Continuing delay

An event marked continuing gets periodic follow-up notice reminders rather than a single deadline, matching how FIDIC treats ongoing events.

C

Quiet mode

On sensitive employer projects, generation asks for an extra confirmation. Tracking never stops; sending is always your decision.

D

Bilingual output

Per-project toggle produces English and Arabic side by side for KSA and Qatar facing letters, with the English version stated as prevailing.

NOTICE GENERATOR · FREQUENTLY ASKED

Asked in every first call

Will the letter cite a clause that is not in my contract?
No. Clause references come from the extraction you confirmed against the uploaded document. If a reference is missing, the letter shows a bracketed gap for you to fill rather than inventing one.
Can I send it directly from the app?
Not in the current version. Export to Word or PDF, issue it through your normal correspondence channel, then mark it sent in the register so the status and the notice clock reflect reality.
Does it work for subcontract notices to a main contractor?
Yes. On a back-to-back profile the same event produces an upstream notice to the main contractor and preserves the downstream clock separately.
CERTIFICATIONS OF CONDUCT

Why you can put your name near it

Draft for expert review

DraftMyEOT is not a law firm and never claims to be. Every output is a draft, built to be reviewed and signed by your contracts lead or consultant.

Nothing invented, ever

No dates, events, or clause numbers appear that you did not supply. Every paragraph shows the evidence reference it was built from.

Your data, walled off

Each company's workspace is isolated, documents sit in private storage, and consultants see only the project they were invited to.

Get your next notice out on time

Send a contract, your delay events, and whatever records exist, tidy or not. A structured draft comes back in 48 hours. Not useful? Keep it, owe nothing.
